Criminal Background Checks

At American Eagle Investigations our clients often ask us to perform
criminal background checks for their prospective employees. We always go right to the source, which means we run our criminal background checks at the Courthouse. We have a network of researchers around the country that can provide us with up to date accurate criminal records. Obtaining records from the Courthouse gives our clients the exact information they are looking for. Criminal background checks run by the court will provide the date of arrest, the case number, the original charge, and the disposition (meaning if the individual was found guilty, or pled guilty, the disposition date, and if the person received probation or parole).

Some investigators use databases but we have found that resource does not provide the most up to date accurate information.

We also perform criminal background checks for individuals who may want to investigate a boyfriend, girlfriend, or a fiance. Performing a premarital background check before getting married is a good idea. Some people want to know everything about a person that they are about to get married to or are planning to live with. For example we had a person who was concerned about his girlfriend that was living with him. He said that what she had told him about her past just did not make sense. Sure enough we conducted a criminal background check and we found that this individual had multiple arrests and convictions in four different states. Needless to say our client was pleased with the results and made an informed decision abut his future.

We conduct criminal background checks for both large and small corporations. These companies want to know who they are hiring and what they have done in the past. Most companies are looking to see if an individual was convicted of larceny or embezzlement, they do not want to hire an individual who may hurt their company in any way. The bottom line is companies want to protect their assets and do not need any unknown partners.
